Hi, my name is Joey and together with my wife Jill, we proudly own JoeyClean-Premium Auto Detailing Service located in Eagan, MN. We live in Richfield with our beautiful son, Russell, just a short drive from our shop.
Where did it all begin? I was born and raised in Chanhassen, MN back in the early 70’s. When I was just a kid (3 or 4 years old), I vividly remember helping my father wipe the wax off of the family vehicles on weekends. I absolutely loved the way they shined and felt so smooth afterwards. This all resurfaced when I was in high school. I would stay up most of the night prepping my car for shows and my dad popped out to say, "Why don’t you get a job at a detail shop to learn the tricks of the trade? That way you aren’t up all night cleaning that thing!!” Following his advice, I got my first detailing job in 1991/92, and from there, my journey began. Over 30 years later, I'm still making vehicles look their best!
The auto detailing business launched in 2007, when I was taking business and marketing classes to start my own company. With Jill's support (she already owned her business at the time), she helped me decide to start out as a self contained mobile detailing business. Many of those customers are still with us today. I quickly became known for my quality work and convenience for on site detailing. During this time we got married, bought a house, had our son, Russell, we felt it was time to make some changes. I changed the name to JoeyClean-Premium Auto Detailing Service and saw the need to start ceramic coatings, window tint and PPF, which required a physical location. Jill once again played a crucial role by helping me find and establish our brick-and-mortar location.
In early 2020, Jill closed her business to help grow JoeyClean. We fought through a pandemic, we grew stronger, and became my business partner. She has continued to help grow and manage the business with all of her hard work behind the scenes while handling customer relationships, scheduling, promotions and creative input with our social media outlets and website.
After a few location changes we found ourselves in JoeyClean’s new home in Eagan, where we plan to stay long-term. We have worked very hard to improve our shop, fine tune our services and build an experienced, hard working top-tier team! Our team doesn't just complete the service you ask for; we're here to provide guidance on car care between appointments, answer any questions and make you feel like part of the JoeyClean family.
